I just watched the latest video by @Viking_Reefing (btw, if you're not familiar with him, you should absolutely follow his tank here on R2R), and it got me to thinking. What do you do when your passion for the reef hobby seems to be in a slump?

I just go to my LFS when I have felt discouraged or just annoyed with my tank and had thoughts of stopping. Something about seeing all of the beautiful fish and corals that I could have in the future makes me go home and get back on it. I specifically go and look at this one adorable puffer that the LFS has in one of their displays, how can you not smile?

I took a step back and realized why I was doing this hobby. Yes, something might go wrong, but the payoff is worth it.
