But to answer the question: No.
there is no paint that used in reefs at all.
Some people will take sand and sprinkle it on top of the epoxy with some super glue to hide it and make it look more natural but there’s no paint or spray.

What black epoxy did you use???

Was it reef safe?
If not you may have to trash all that rock and start over with reef safe stuff.

I’ve never seen black before in 15 years of reefing.

Just out of curiosity, where are you located?
Even when I search online, the only mention of this epoxy is a couple threads where people say exactly the same as you
“A local shop recommends it”
And nothing else.

I’m guessing you’re overseas or something? (Not the USA?)

Good luck, Guss

I wouldn’t trust it

As to painting it, no suggestions

I would do over with new rock and use purple two part epoxy from Two Little Fishies

That's a known quantity, and care still needs to be taken when using it

IDK anything about this particular brand but NYOS makes a black reef epoxy for those questioning color.
I personally don’t use any reef epoxy in my tank because I can’t stand to be in a room with it the smell is so strong.

Gonna make sure the guy that told me to use it is actually using it on his reef tank ,and if it’s seems ok I’ll keep it ,if I sense something fishy I’ll go buy that one and redo everything heheh Ty :)

No clue if reef safe but marketed as safe for reef rock. Perhaps call them or contact the various dry rock suppliers selling purple rocks such as Marco and see what they use and if they sell that product. Those purple rocks in many reef tanks. Some going likely in my Grandson build.

If it's determined to be reef safe just put superglue on it and sprinkle sand on top. Or just wait a while and it will all be covered with with something. Coraline gha etc depending on how things go.
Wow. What a vote of confidence. Lol. It will be covered with SOMETHING lol. The OP can have my bryopsis to cover it with!
