Hi
Just noticed this the other day

Werid this tank has had nothing new for about 6months

Seamed to retract and almost like it was hiding in the rocks when I got near it

Odds are, if there is one, there are A LOT more in there, just waiting to grow. @TX_REEF has good advice. But if they continue to pop up, there are some livestock options you can explore.

Yep. Take care of it now, though one means some as stated above. While you don't want them all over the tank, I actually find them quite beautiful. I've tried to kill one bad boy 3 separate times with boiling water, F Aiptasia, and Kalk slurry, and it keeps coming back. So I figured it earned its spot.the crown of this stinker is about 2 inches across.

That's a big boy! If I could have a guarantee that it wouldn't reproduce (not possible --- or if aiptasia eating critters would leave it alone and take care of others), I'd be tempted to let it live.

Heh, I feel you. I see them in my overflow so that ship has sailed. Next tank is going to have a much stricter quarantine protocol for rock/frag plugs
