Aiptasia eating file fish nipping at BTA?

I had a coral come in, dipped but then still saw a small aiptasia. I freaked out and introduced a file fish. I know…maybe an overreaction but I’ve never had aiptasia and hear the horrors from you guys. The filefish is huge! I feed him a lot! I have busted him nipping at my hammers, RFA’s, Acans and frogspawn. I have two BTA’s. One stays fairly hidden and is fine. The other older one is on top of a rock in plain view. I am almost sure the the filefish is nipping at it. It is like its tentacles are retracting back into it….or maybe have just been bitten off? I am actively trying to catch and remove the filefish to no avail. Do you think he is what is behind my BTA unhealthy state?

Cannot see anything with that picture but, yes, filefish ,especially big ones will nip/eat just about anything, especially things you don't want them to.
Sometimes more often than not they'll mow down whole corals.
