Hello all. I can't believe it has been 4 years since I first joined this site. In that time I have gone through five saltwater tanks. I started with a 29 gallon biocube but quickly upgraded to the 34 gallon solana. After the solana came a Keith Grant frag tank that I used as a shallow reef. From there I upgraded and bought the frag tank from yourreef that I used as another shallow reef. I thought I was moving two years ago and sold the system. I always regretted selling that tank. Well the move never happened and I setup a 45 gallon oceanic tech tank last year. I always wanted to try a cube and now this is my sixth tank. Another Keith Grant custom.

Tank Dimensions
36x36x21
3/4" thick
eurobraced/bottom braced

Impressive stand!

Looking forward to seeing more.... You have chosen a VERY HIGH Standard to emulate, I hope it works out.

Thanks for the support :) I know I set lofty goals for myself, just hope I am able to achieve them :) Some updates on the stand. The overall look is complete, just need to decide on a paint color.

Nice tank and stand. Good luck in duplicating those others, they are gorgeous.

That a very nice looking tank! Would you mind sharing if thats drilled glass, plexi insert or mesh for the overflow? I like the Aquascapes you chose; what rock will you be using?

Sorry for the delay. My AC unit on the third floor leaked and caused some water damage. Everything was on hold until the water damage was repaired. Well everything is back to normal so I can finally continue my build. I got some new toys and finished up my canopy.

I also got lucky and was able to buy a mature reef someone was selling. I placed the corals in the tank about three weeks ago and am planning to redo the aquascape now that the corals have stabilized.

Well I'm not sure if I came close to my inspirational tanks but here is what I ended up with.

I'm thinking it will look much better in about six months.

Thanks :) I just wanted to add enough sand for my yasha goby but may add more in the future. The canopy is temporary until I can finish the white one that is pictured above. I am planning to add a track system to the back of the stand and actuators so that it will lift automatically.
