Does your sandsifter goby do this?
He lives in that rock, but he seems to just bury it in sand. Not mad about it, my favorite fish in the tank currently. So he can have that rock... Just want to hear if yours do the same, and if anyone know why?

Lol that’s not bad at all. I had one that wound take sand then go to the top and drop the sand in front of the powerhead. All day. It would cover half my corals in sand

You could try moving the rock. I don’t think it’s that he wants the rock covered. But instead wants the sand moved away from the original spot

Haha, that must have been annoying.

I would feel bad moving the rocks and his cave now that he spend so much time on it, he even kidnapped one of my brand-new trochus snails to put it in front of his cave.
