Does anyone sell decent sized acrylic acclimation boxes? I have a gold-rimmed tang that just murdered a new tomini tang. He seems to really harass new additions for a few days and if they survive, he pretty much leaves them alone.

I think if I put new fish in an acclimation box for a week or two where he can get used to them, but not attack them, it would really help.

I'm looking for something of decent size that is preferably attached to the side of the tank with strong magnets. Is this something that I have to DIY or does someone sell these?

Yeah. I appreciate the response though. My concern now is that after I bought it I noticed that they say the max glass thickness for the magnet is 10mm. MY 3/4" glass is a good bit thicker than that. I guess I could always use my Magfloat to help keep it in place or wedge it between some rocks and the glass if I had to.

Just adding to this in case it pops up on a search. I was having trouble finding one for 3/4" glass. Then I have a single piece euro brace with 3 openings which means I can't open the top on a magnetic one.

I did something similar to @EricR using a reptile carrier. I attached heavy fishing line and use a piece of pvc to span one of the opening in the euro brace to suspend the box in the water

When I was ready to release the fish I just removed the cover and lowered the box into the tank and let him swim out. In this case she swam in first to introduce herself.

Ocean view on bird road, and strickly fish has a sample of it i left them they are selling with one of my vegi feeders

Lol. I was at Ocean View yesterday buying some frozen food. They are right around the corner from me. I usually go there first if I need supplies. Then Strictly Fish if OV doesn't have what I'm looking for.

I'll check it out if the box I ordered doesn't work out for me.

My PNWCustom Acclimation box/fish trap arrived today. Looking at it, I think I want something much larger than 12"x6"x6". I want something that I can comfortably house a few fish for like a week. I have a 7' long tank with plenty of room to hang something twice this size on the side.

I have a pair of Blue Jaw Triggers and a Mandarin coming tomorrow. I'll try it out with them and see how it goes.

Biggest critter keeper (like in post#s 6 and 11) that I saw was 18x12x7,,, if you get desperate.
...not sure how big you were thinking, but if you get desperate

Feels a little cramped with more than one fish in there. My eurobracing makes it a little annoying to access the feed door. The trap door sticks up which prevents me from just keeping the top of the box at the waterline with my lid on.
