Started the reefing journey back in 2011 and had my tank running until 2021 when I moved from my parents house and didn’t have room for the tank. I now have the space and opportunity to get back into the hobby. I couldn’t just go small and put the old 65 tall back up so I went and purchased a new Waterbox infinia frag 175.6.loved how much it comes with for the price as I already have a lot of equipment. excited to have the tank of my dreams and start a new journey. It arrives Monday so the build starts then. Plan is to take my time and do it right .

Can the lighting experts tell me if a hydra 62 and 2 hydra 32s would be ample lighting for Lps and maybe some easier spa corals.. the tank is frag style so it’s 70 long but only 16” deep

I use aqua forest reef salt right now, I like it. ESV is also a really good salt. A lot of options I there, my advice is to pick a salt that matches the parameters you want to shoot for.

I would say yes, based off the fact on WWC YouTube channel they have a water box frag and are using AI blades with SPS

Should I do sand if so what kind ? Any input much appreciated
I would say yes, but depends on what your plans are for the tank.
If you will have wrasses, a sand bed is advisable. You can have the sand with a slope to create a little more depth and have low thickness around the glass and bring the slope up to the middle aft. (this is used a lot in freshwater aquascaping)
If you want to get into SPS you will need to upgrade your flow and there sand can be an issue, especially in this low configuration.
But I would go for it. Later you can adjust the flow direction and look for an optimal solution.

I was reading that Waterbox is only designed for 5x turnover for return pump anyone know if that is true ?
When looking at the proposed return pumps for the 175 Frag system on the Waterbox website, it seems that they focus more on 10x turnover or more.
For this size of tank, Vectra M2 and Sicce SDC 7.0 and 9.0 are proposed.

That is in the same range of the Vectra M2, so similar of what Waterbox is suggesting.
You will not get 10x turnover, as you do not want your pump to run 100% all the time, but that is not needed neither.
While adjusting the drain valve, you can look for a sweet spot at the given setting of the pump.
