Hello, I was in the process of curing my live ocean rock when I accidentally spilled water onto my power strip that was powering heaters and pumps. One of the pump’s plug started to sort of sizzle and I quickly went to unplug it. I have thrown away that power strip and I’m using a different one right now. It’s not sizzling or anything and everything is working. Now I’m not sure if this is a dumb question but could this have hurt anything? Is this not a big deal?

You should be fine.

I'd imagine that power strip would have also been fine once dry.

The power strip really should be plugged into a GFCI outlet or, at least a portable GFCI. It should trip if it happens again.
