You can order them direct from Warner until next few weekend when dealers have them.

The polymers in this are very similar to NP, it will be interesting to see how they compare.

So... it's been a little more than 2 weeks.

My nitrates are always low. Just registers a color on the Seachem test. Very faint pink at least below .5. Well today I test my NO3...does not even register a color. Stone cold zero.

My PO4 is measured on a high sensitivity Merck kit. I can't tell a absolute number, but when my GFO is new it registers a faint blue and when it is ready to change it is a bit more blue... I always consider that .008 and .015 respectively. I know it is very low, just a hint of blue. Well I test today expecting a .015 since I have not been running GFO..... plain solid yellow.... zero. No blue.

I was not expecting this since it did not seem like I have less film algae on the glass like when I use GFO, but I have not been paying that much attention. But no color in either test was quite cool.

The pellets are tumbling. They are getting sticky and clumping together a bit. Easy to break up, but it does cause some channeling in the pellets if flow is not kept up.

I also started dosing MB7 just for the heck of it. Got a small bottle at the LFS and it was not much so I figured I would do it just as a boost. Don't plan on using it long term. But I have only dosed for low nutrients and added 4 drops on two occasions so I have not been doing this the whole time or very much.

Cyano is still present but I am attributing this to the old rock I put back in the tank. Colors on my coral are getting better, but I also ran my halides up from 6 hours to 9 hours and attribute much of the improvement to that. My Superman Monti is now Superman again and not all brown like it was.

Those are my observations so far.

Great update! I haven't got my reactor finished yet so I haven't ordered them. I am definitely getting these over any other pellets. Also nice to hear about the GFO. I didn't stop using GFO until I had been dosing vodka for over a year. How much flow do you have going through the pellets?

So it has been 5 weeks now. NO3 zero, PO4 barely detectable. That is lower than the .015-.008 I would normally run with GFO. So far I have a very slow tumbling. There was some clumping and channeling around 3 weeks, but not any more. I had some cyano that I attribute to other things, but that is now going away. For months I had some white fliud type stuff growing on my glass in the sump. Then I noticed it growing on the undersides of all my rock in the DT. That is all gone now and my water just looks cleaner. I don't know what that means since I had clean water before... but what ever. I still run GAC. I have also been dosing the low dose of MB& every other day. But I just got a small bottle for the heck of it and do not plan on running that long term.

There is no slime on the pellets. Very easy to keep on a slow simmer. I have not noticed any PH changes or any drastic parameter swings. I have a lot of sponge in the tank but so far can't say I notice a big growth spurt in filter feeders. I just ran the effluent to the skimmer section but not directly to the skimmer. I recently went from 7 hours of halides to 9 hours and my SPS really colored up. So I can't say if the pellets have contributed to better color. all my stuff has growth on it.

I have not noticed a big decrease in my film algae on the glass. Seems to be the same. Need to clean it 3-4 days. So far I have not noticed a decline in my cheato in the fuge. It has always been a very slow grower. I wondered if the pellets would out compete it for nutrients. We shall see. I'm going to run maybe another week then start feeding more. I overfed some rotties/oystereggs/aminos before the pellets which kicked off a cyano bloom. I'm going to go a bit slower next time but I do want to ramp up more coral food. If my NO3 and PO4 continue to stay very low with increased feeding, then I will consider it a 100% success.

Got mine in the reactor and running....I have a Greyseas reactor pushed by a MJ1200......I talked to Jon about the volume of my tank and the amount I should use.....I got a 1liter canister and was going to use all of it good thing I checked with Jon. I have about 75 g of volume and he said to start with half and that amount should be good for about 1.5 years.....LOL. So I guess a little goes along way now we wait and see what happends in a few weeks.

I have been watching the N & P pellets for sometime now hoping that they would work out well, looks like we are finally getting there. I am hoping to use them to replace zeovit zeolites and start2. Has anyone done this yet? If so wondering if you did them all at once or gradual.

N&P pellets are a little differant then the Ecobak pellets......I kinda wonder what would happen if you mixed them.....N&P are supposed to be good for both Nitraites and Phospahtes but not as good on the phosphates as EcoBak from what I have read...Either way I can't wait to see some results.....I am sure I will forget about them in the reactor and in 2 months all my PITA algea will be gone and I be like what the heck happend?

Just ordered mine from WM yesterday. We talked about the setup and how they work for sometime, really nice guy there at WM. Anyways, going with 2ml in a 300 gallon system. Going to use my old zeovit reactor and see how it works out.
