To answer your question. Yes it is good. My Angelfish graze on it all day long.

It's very normal to have microalgae like this when a tank is new. It's far better than having cyano or dinoflagellates take over. Give the tank time to mature and it should clear up. Add a bunch of snails and hermits. Keep feeding to reasonable levels.
It's green hair Algae?
