Pics of your coral crouches, pleaseThese are cool videos! I would love to have a waspfish. I think there is a tiny one called the rooster waspfish/pygmy waspfish that would be fine in my tank and with my coral crouchers but I haven't been able to find one yet here in Canada.
I have an adult lion and a fox face my lion sent me to the hospital a couple years back, but it wasn't his fault.Hi all - I’m sure there are a bunch of venomous fish keepers here so wanted to start a thread to share photos and advice.
I’ve currently got a pretty big collection!

Inimicus didactylus (Popeye Sea Goblin)
4x Paracentropogon zonatus (Bandtail Waspfish)
2x Paracentropogon longispinnis (Long Spined Waspfish)
Pterois antennata (Antennata Lionfish)
Pterois radiata (Radiata Lionfish)
Rhinopias eschmeyeri (Paddle-fin Scorpionfish)

Scorpaenodes littoralis (Cheekspot Scorpionfish)
2x Scorpaenodes parvipinnis (Lowfin scorpionfish)
Taenianotus triacanthus (Leaf Scorpionfish)
And some photos:
I don't think my foxface loves me any more. He used to feed from my hand, but now when I approach the tank he turns invisible.I have a Foxface that eats nori from my hand. Never been stung.
How many predators do you have sharing those shrimp?I feed a 2-3 hundred ghost shrimp in one setting every weekend and they last less than 10 minutes. I do have quite a lot of mouthes to feed though! It might work if you had less fish but scorpionfish are VERY greedy!
~40….Beautiful fish!

He’s beautiful, dang now I want one for my 3’x16”x1’ SPS reef but I have a Black Clown Goby already and he can be rather aggressive (well, aggressive for gobies) to similar bodied fish.I finally found one!! He’s already settled in and exploring the tank.
Mine has been in hiding since I got it. Still cute in it's rock hole.I finally found one!! He’s already settled in and exploring the tank.
My green clown goby doesn't bother mineHe’s beautiful, dang now I want one for my 3’x16”x1’ SPS reef but I have a Black Clown Goby already and he can be rather aggressive (well, aggressive for gobies) to similar bodied fish.
I forgot how adorable cuckoo waspfish were, yours looks like a puppy haha
Out of curiosity, have you found your Cockatoo Waspfish to be similar to Foxfaces in which the venom is simply for defence? For those on Instagram I put together a couple of unboxing videos from my latest import.

And for those not I’ll try and get the YouTube sorted. For some reason the upload there ruined the quality.
They’re very chill - 3 of mine regularly sit on my hand when I work in the tank. I’d think you’d be waaaaaaaay more likely to be stung by a fox face than a cockatoo waspfish.Out of curiosity, have you found your Cockatoo Waspfish to be similar to Foxfaces in which the venom is simply for defence?
They’re on my wish list ever since seeing the close up photo. I absolutely want a puppy looking fish in my tank haha.
