Likely Scorpaena brasiliensis. A lovely scorp but be careful with the size of the mouth - I called the one I had “bucket mouth” for obvious reasons

There's going to be a mandarin and anemones with him... can't seem to find any info on that, but for now he's in a box with rocks to perch and we're tong feeding pe mysis. Gonna look up that species specifically.

Mandarins have a toxic slime coat which helps them to avoid being eaten.

Well it sounds like I need to set up another tank.. bummer lol my husband wanted him so he can't even argue! Perfect!

I went to a guy's house to pick up some acans and here was this weird looking fish that he said wouldn't eat, but would like to know too, because if he needs a new tank he might as well have some friends!!

Yes! I feed a huge portion of 200-300 river shrimp in one go once a week. Then they get frozen white shrimp and silversides in the week - I’ve trained them all to eat frozen which makes my life much easier!

Beautiful! I love the dwarf scorpions/waspfish! I really want to have a soft coral tank dedicated to them one day.
I have a mixed reef currently, and I would like to put a waspfish in there, but since I'm a college student I will only be home on the weekend during the school year. I don't want my parents to have to spot feed any fish.
I have heard the Cockatoo Waspfiush will go after fish more when they're well acclimated. So i'm tempted to give the cockatoo a try. I will have time to baby him over the summer if needed to make sure he gets enough food. But it probably isn't the best idea.
