So my question is simple, would you use Vibrant in a newly set up Frag Tank? Would/Could you even add it before there is a sign of Algae?

Some background; I am in the process of setting up a 20 gallon long quarantine/frag tank to hold my monti frags while I deal with the dreaded montipora eating nudibranchs in the main system. I am wondering if I can add vibrant to the system before the first signs of algae or should I see what happens first?

Thanks!

I know the makers of Vibrant, and others do, with the "No algae cycle" setup. If I remember correctly, the vibrant manufacturers say they add vibrant on the 2nd or 3rd week of setting up a new tank and don't experience any uglies.
