How low is the lowest setting on axis 20? When I got the hygger (395gph) a couple days ago I thought i would be able to adjust the speed down to 80gph-ish. The lowest setting it can go is around 118gph. It’s too high that the back chamber can’t keep up. I may have to look into this one. I already have the AI light so it’s nice that it uses the same app.
You can set it for a trickle. Down to 1 percent even off. Definitely adjust to any variable speed.

I love the simplicity and beauty of this tank! Do you need to scrape the bottom of the tank to keep it clean?
Thank you. Not at first. I think now I have done it twice. It is mostly just a light brush as I want to keep most the growth. Since I remove everything during water change it's easy to do if needed. I will probably not scrub the bottom this Thursday by the way it looks so far.

Just received my custom cut glass lid from Amazon. Turned out great.

Just a simple update, Tank is doing great. A large feather duster has appeared on frogspawn skeleton so we shall see how it grows. The shrimp seems happy as well as the flaming prawn goby. I swapped out the socks Thursday and will be cleaning old ones.

I also received the Inkbird ITC-306T wifi controller. There seems to be an issue with the app as I can control the fahrenheit exactly on the unit but not in app. When I swap to Celsius, this is resolved. While I can't turn the inkbird off, I can drop the temp and put back up so heater doesn't turn on.

Now I can adjust the lights and heater without touching. The AI Blade lights are working great. The corals are still adjusting but starting to notice more brighter colors coming through. I also lifted the frogspawn with another rock so it is higher and now should avoid touching anything. This gives the elegance more room as well.

We are currently still looking for a simple stand. Looking at single door accent tables that are 30 inches tall and since tank is just under 12 x 12 we are looking at ideas as it also has to fit our theme.

I thought I updated but seems I did not. Monday after dropping our dog Maple off for her 8 week X-rays from knee surgery, we did some errands and stopped by the reef store.

I ended up buying a purple gorgonia. I ended up needing to cut and fought with it gluing it down to the pipe organ piece with the macro algae. This piece was larger than I thought. Also required some rearranging. Everything was a little closed up from moving around in the pics. I'll try and take better tomorrow.

Tank is still doing really well. Except a couple things I noticed. Only difference has been upgraded lighting and then placement.

The purple gonipora decided to close up. I had rearranged placement a bit for the gorgonia. This purple goni doesn't seem to have liked this. It is looking slightly better but will see how it does this week before moving again next water change. Since it's looking better since placing in different flow and the other goni is happy, this is what I'm suspecting. Plus doesn't help my shrimp like to sit on it lol.

The Pipe organ doesn't seem to be opening all its polyps. I was suspecting when I got that this would be the issue over time. I mainly bought for all the sponges and such hitchhiking. We will see how this does as well.

Plate coral got a little burnt from new light in beginning and showed some burning. After lowering light intensity slightly and placing things a bit different, it seems to be happier.

These blade lights produce a lot of par. They are now running at 20 percent from 25. The tank is still really bright. I am still on the hunt for a new stand.

The rest of the corals are doing great and adjusting to the new flow pattern. Things are still waking up a bit

How do you like the tank itself?
The tank itself I think is really nice. Back chambers have good room for things. Glass and seams seem well to. I wish they used a clear glue for front seams but doesn't take away From the tank. The equipment comes with it just needs to be chucked lol. Replace the pump and unless your using their steady flow nozzle. By a spin stream for random flow. Their filter sock and the adapter that you buy separately is good as well. Maybe better options for price vs what's usable. But I do like it.

Finally found a new stand. Should provide enough room for what I want to do. Also will be moved to a new spot. Has enough room to put my 2 water jugs under, one cabinet to manage the controllers and wires and the other for storage of everything else. There will still be plenty of space on the table top as well.

What a week it's been so far. Swapped out locks on doors, setup the garage door clickers, built new tank stand, peeled and scraped off mold from section in sealing and cleaned from old water damage prior to us buying. Didn't see until paint was popping off....

Now I still have to move tank and clean organize all my fish stuff which is a lot. As well as build/find a cheap and small control board to keep them near. Seal, texture and paint sealing, radiator cracked yesterday so waiting for the jb radiator weld today...couldn't wait till Friday when I possibly get my newer vehicle and got rid of this one lol. Along with work and other things to work on, not enough time in the day.

On a good note, I the changes and adjustments have the purple gone and plate much happier. Seems flow and light from rearranging was the issue. We will see if it comes out more today...if my shrimp leaves it alone lol.

Something else I discovered was when I had my 5 gallon years ago, I noted where it was fed a slight pinch of benepets daily and I dosed aminos. I am increasing the benefits from twice a week to at least once daily as I can remember and allowed. I may also add aminos as well from Aquaforest.

It has been a very crazy and stressful week. I am having to put the project to hang lights and buying parts to organize the cable on hold. Lots of home projects. Well I was unable to do the water change yesterday so will do that shortly. Heres a pic of the dirty tank lol. Goni did get stung by elegance but is doing fine

Tank is still doing well. Just fragged a piece of gorgonia and reglued to the pipe organ coral. Very happy so far and not much else going on with it.

On the other hand, our church is having Vacation Bible School next week. The theme is scuba diving. So in preparation I decided to setup a temporary tank. It is currently ready to go but wanted to setup early. I will be taking to the church Saturday night or early Friday. Corals are being borrowed and grateful for the help. The kids will love watching the corals and light phases.
