*Disclaimer - I am in no way affiliated with Two Little Fishies, I just think we get too many poor and expensive products (often at the same time) in this hobby not to acknowledge a really good one.
I love Kalkwasser but I found that big containers full of saturated kalk take up too much space, kalk stirrers are often loud, usually expensive and need regular cleaning and all the pumps, timers etc. can be complicated.
I bought the Two Little Fishies reactor because it was cheaper than the rest and I honestly did not expect much going on past experience. Barely even looked at how it worked. But since setting it up a few months ago I could not be happier. The clever sprinkler mechanism using water pressure to stir the kalk is effective and efficient and means it doesn't have a servo motor. So less noise and one less potentially expensive failure point. I actually sit it in the top-off water reservoir and it draws water from it as well which is a huge space saver. You could use your ATO pump to push water through it but I have a tiny pump on a controller separate to my regular ATO. The whole thing took 5 minutes to set up and is well made.
It's quiet, simple, affordable and efficient and I highly recommend it...that is all...
