I had the same concerns... as far as light, inappropriate reefer's is right under 4 T5s and a Radion XR30. Before he fragged it back it was at the surface. I'm sure they can handle light.

I did split the skeleton getting it off the plug. Vertically. All the way up to the polyp. It didnt seperate, but theres a chance it was damaged. If it goes, it was a cheap frog spawn out the discount rack at one of the LFS. I'll get some kind of really cool frogspawn to replace it.

That could be. Just something to keep an eye on. Still looks puffy!

So, uh... being patient pays off. I know, you all have seen this 845.3 million times on here. This isn't about the tank. Ok kinda about the tank but it's dry goods. I've had a set of macro lenses for my phone on my Amazon wish list for a while now. Well, they went on sale, then Amazon put them on flash sale. We just got a $60 lens kit, for $9...

So I haven't told y'all, but we've had our lights on an acclimation setting slowly getting brighter over the last two weeks. Here's the new schedule.... hint, the corals are looking GREAT. (except the three temperamental zoas that are still closed) I see a few little spots on the hyacinth birds nest that are about to branch off.

Hungry hungry acans!

20180109_213008.jpg

Yes, that's not one, but TWO baby acans on the side of my orange and green and purple acan... you know what, were going to call them autumn leaf acans. You can name your own corals, right? Cuz they were totally unnamed when I bought them. That's three baby acan heads spotted this week. The bigger one could have babies on it and I'd never know, it's got so many now.

Who's up for a Sushi picture?... yea, me too.

Yea well we have two baby autumn leaf acans, so we took two pictures of Sushi.

I really wish his mate and the shrimp would show up but... I'm afraid they are lost.

I had a hi fin and pistol early on. I think one day they will just show up and surprise you!

That’s what mine did.

I'm excited... I just bought my VIP ticket to a new frag swap event in Charelston hosted by Joe Knows Reef. Lots of local and not so local vendors will be there. Check out the website www.reefdreams.net and Reef Dreams on facebook.
