I doubt we will see 2205 Duplex stainless available for hobby tools any time soon.
It's just got even more nickel, molybdenum and chromium... all the better to contaminate your tank with my dear. Lol

Grew up with a family house a block and half off the ocean, canal that leads to the ocean in the back yard. Everything rusts down there. Plastic only from now on in my tank.

Eel, octopus, squid, urchin... I eat it all. You knownwhat, let me scroll back thru 54.2 million tank photos and find the last time we went out for omakase. If you don't know, omakase literally translates to "I trust you." It's a type of sushi service where the chef prepares items you won't normally find on the menu, but you don't pick any of them. It's the best experience you can have at a sushi restrauant.

Squid, shrimp and crab meat on a cucumber and sea weed salad. Pretty sure I've seen some of that stuff in a refugium before. Might have been in the one I used to have on the counter.

Seared grouper. The marinade on this was awesome.
20170825_212440.jpg

Trigger fish. I picked at this thing for a good 30 minites getting all the meat off.
20170825_213642.jpg

A little American sushi roll, can't remember what it was, but Chef Maru doesn't make bad sushi.
20170825_213659.jpg

Random nigiri sushi, umm left to right, eel, salmon, mackerel, tuna, can't remember what the pink roll is and the yellow over on the right is sushi egg. The egg is super sweet.

Well! Maybe these were the ones I was looking at last week! If so, congrats!

So uh, pretty cold up there huh? We're experiencing frigid temperatures of mid 20s in the morning. Not sure we are going to survive down here Monday morning when it gets sub 20 degrees.

What's that line next to the numbers? I've never seen one of those before.
Those little lines are a place holder reminding you to move south. Having experienced -40F in Prairie Du Chien, WI in the late 80's I have decided to talk with a funny accent from now on. :D

I was born in Chicago and raised between the suburbs and Wisconsin. My wife and I agree we will never live any further north than we currently do. My lack of accent sticks out in northern Alabama!

I've been as far west as Huntsville, AL. When I was a kid. back in the mid/late 90s... Space center field trip. I've been as far north as Toronto. Went to see Niagara in February. Never again... Lake Ontario was FREEZING cold. I've never been so cold in my life. I swear I froze to death in a previous life. I hate everything to do with the cold... Ice, snow(which isn't nice and fluffy here it's mush), nothing green, can't walk around in shorts and flip flops. Give me a tropical island in the middle of blue water that's 80F year round, that's my happy place. I'd never once miss winter, or any season that isn't summer.

Huntsville is around 20 minutes from where I live now.
I was stationed in Upstate NY for a few years. Learned to love snowmobiles but not enough to make me prefer it over a beach from a corona commercial!
