Turtle, that looks great but... where'd you put the frag tank? There's a few corals you haven't been able to kill yet in there. Plus, that frag moving urchin and evil, fish chasing shrimp you swore were never going in The Deep Blue Sea.

Relax, I didn't get rid of the frag tank... it's over here.

@mmw64 oh my god, TRACY We're only 30 minutes distance or so
That's great. Now y'all are gonna leave me here to supervise Robin and the rest of the guys by myself! Fine. Just bring me back a Java of some sort please.

We tested water today and used our Triton kit we won from BRS. The Triton test is easy, you go online and register an account and fill out your tank information, register your bar codes for the test, fill them with water and put them in the box. There's a shipping label included and the only thing you need is postage. We'll go get that tomorrow and leave it at the post office to be mailed off.

Update #3 for the day... I'm really treating my minions.

The Kessil H380 is hung!

We took some measurements with the Seneye too. First measurement is at the water, 6.5" away from the light. The second measurement is down at the chaeto. This thing is a powerhouse.

We set it up on a WiFi wall timer (fancy junk, I know), it turns on at 2300 and turns off at 1100. Exact opposite of the display lights. Right now, my base ball is down to a golf ball. Hopefully we can make that golf ball a base ball, or even a soft ball here soon.

@mmw64 not a blessed thing here in Tracy. Got my scooter blenny and peppermint shrimp at the place in modesto. Not much else there or worth going back. I head for Hayward or San Jose/Neptune. Nice new store just opened in Santa Clara. I also go to Sac. Kids live up there so I always plan a couple stops that way.
If you are ever passing through, PM. Would love to meet you.

I know we said no new additions to the tank until the first of the year... but the fish I had given up on came available last week and we had to order one. He got here at 1200 and I started floating him in the display. 30 minutes later he was released to go find a hiding spot. Almost 5 hours later, and he's out swimming. I took some really crappy pictures from the couch, because I'm afraid of scaring him back into his hole.

I know what you're thinking. That just looks like a yellow watchman goby. Those aren't rare.

That's not a yellow watchman. It's a gold assessor basslet.
