Tube Work Infestation on Birdnest?

I thought these where Vermatid snails until I got a close look. They are causing havoc with what was a very healthy birdnest sps. I’ve never seen what’s inside the tube, it never comes out, unlike a work that makes a fan, or a vermatid that oozes gooy slime. They don’t seem to like light, as the infestation is only in areas of low light. … and how do you edit the heading?lol
