I been once! But towards the closing time so I didn't get to browse long! They were the first shop I check out as wellHave you been to Love Aquarium? They are super helpful in Escondido.
Agreed, I’ve always been so nervous of buying a Copperband, I got one from them- it was eating day one! Super healthyI tried Marine Collectors for the first time recently. I bought a couple pyramid butterflyfish. They are absolutely top notch specimen and eat frozen, pellet, flake and Reef Jerky readily. Pricey but if that is going to be an example of the stock I receive from them I would use them all the time
Not only did they pull the "out of stock" option for cancelling my sale, they literally told me, the night of the auction that they were losing money because so many auctions went less than $10. So I wasn't buying the "stock" issue. Sheesh. Out a min bid if you're not going to follow thru. When I ordered in auction, they "ran out of stock" on anything I won that was less than $10. But it was still up for current auction. Then they filled the order with stuff I never ordered. (Blue and silver rock flower turned up as green and brown). But I'm a country away, so what am I gonna do?
Quality, pricing, and customer service, all of which you guys have in spadesWith all this chat about shops. What keeps you guys shopping with vendors? Pricing, variety, customer service, or just they have what you want?
Pricing, friendliness and customer service. Don't treat me like I'm stupid, even when I am.... LolWith all this chat about shops. What keeps you guys shopping with vendors? Pricing, variety, customer service, or just they have what you want?
Sorry about talking about another company. That topic just gets me so riled up, every time I think of it.With all this chat about shops. What keeps you guys shopping with vendors? Pricing, variety, customer service, or just they have what you want?
Knowledge regarding the hobby, how helpful staff are, whether the livestock are healthy or not, and honesty rather than just trying to sell, helping to understand what the tank needs (since I am still a novice)With all this chat about shops. What keeps you guys shopping with vendors? Pricing, variety, customer service, or just they have what you want?
I think if it's something that's a bit more fragile or tougher to keep I will prioritize reputation for quality and customer service over pricing. With all this chat about shops. What keeps you guys shopping with vendors? Pricing, variety, customer service, or just they have what you want?
I would also add size of frags for the money. (No matter what that dude last night said.) if I know I'm going to get a good size frag, I'm willing to spend the money.Pricing, friendliness and customer service. Don't treat me like I'm stupid, even when I am.... Lol
