Where do you place RFAs? Will they just move to the spot that they'll be happy themselves?
Yes. That can sometimes be an issue, imo. I have three. One is in the sand. If you have deep sand it will not open very far because it attaches to the bottom of the tank. One is in a shallow hole in my rock. Looks great there. One is halfway under a rock, so you can only see half of it, but I like them. You should have at least one!

So I had an appendectomy Friday. After the live sale yesterday I decided to swap some filter media, but I can’t bend over or reach up. My wife found it hilarious I had to use these grippers.

Those RFAs look amazing but I'm not sure I trust myself with one of those yet.

Are they difficult to keep?
They are super easy to keep. I have 2 in the tank at the moment and I have already bought 3 more this sale. Mine have never moved.
