I have a huge question here. I have seen pink ricordeas at my LFS, but they keep on shrinking up and dying on them. I want one so bad for my girlfriend's tank (Actually she wants one). Any reasons why the pink ones don't do very well? Is it maybe just the LFS? I am hoping someone that sees this has a few pink ones that have done good and tell me how you have done it. Water parameters, lighting, placement, flow etc...

Also, if anyone has any for trade/sale please let me know...

Thanks, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
Scott

That one I have no idea... Not sure on the difference between the two. Not sure if that matters too much either. All I know is that my girlfriend saw some pink ones and pinkish tinted ones and wanted one real bad, and the LFS said $120. My jaw dropped on that one... And then a few days later I went back in there and it was shrunk up and basically dead...

Pink yumas have horriable survival rates, I have been through 7 of them over the last 3 years and don't have a single one. I do have one now I got from Rev that is doing really really well......Yumas are fickle.....

I second this comment. Yumas are very weird some last most don't for some reason. I have had greater success with the pinkish fl ricodias.
