Randy, I was not sure... I was originally just going to let everything settle down to 8-8.5 before starting. But I haven't done anything to the tank for literally a month since number were so high. I really just wanted to get back to some consistency on this tank. It was just suggested to start dosing again, the minimum dosage for my tank was 15ml so it was the starting point. I was actually thinking it wasn't going to be enough and alk would have continually declined, but it looks like 15ml was dead on if it has stayed here for 3 days. 9 isn't horrible I know reefers at 11 and reefers at 7. The Alkalinity of my salt is 8.8 so that is sort of why I think I might just maintain it here. Thoughts??

9 dKH is perfectly fine. I was just responding to your desire to see alk lower. :)

Sounds like a fine plan!
Mine jumps around a lot from my kalk top off but doesn’t affect anything honestly… my all for reef is the only consistent dose I have.

And I appreciate that. I have in the past kept my alk at 8. I do not mind go up a little. Consistency is more key for me long term. I just want this tank to settle back in after the mishap. Back to leaving it alone and letting it do its thing again. Now to figure out the light situation. I hate lighting.

Started All For Reef on June 4th. Started with the dosage if 15ml per day fir my tank. So far things are looking realy good alk has been at 9 and has been constant. I am dosing AFR at 8 in the morning this is an 11/2 hours before my lights come. Hopefully things will start getting back to normal.

I started using AFR in my 15 gallon tank I only put about 2.5 ml every two days plus a 2 gallon water change once a week I do not test my system but since I have started using AFR I have noticed my coral have showed a positive reaction.

Yesterday I noticed my Frogspawn and Hammer Corals were fully opened. That was a first. They are always open but not like they were yesterday. So starting to see some positive outcomes with the switch over.
