Has anyone switch from Triton Core7 to ATI Essentials pro? I am looking to switch from Triton Core7 to ATI Essentials pro because lack of stock with 10 liter one and the cost of triton compare to ati. Have do you guys maintain your chaeto healthy? Dosing stuff like brightwell chaetogrow?

Are you doing the Triton method with no water changes or the Triton "others"?

I’m doing triton method with no water change

The ATI users that I know still do water changes, but they do love the new 2 part Pro version.

FWIW:
Even BRS needed to preform water changes with the full blown Triton method.

I feel the same too because very 6-8 months triton test suggest me to do water change. I feel like, why not just use a two part that has trace elements and perform water change anyways

methods aside, two additives that are very useful for growing macroalgae are iron and manganese. They can be depleted very fast if you try to maintain them at "natural" levels.

Thanks Randy. Will there be any downside if I change my additive from Triton Core7 to ATI Essentials pro?

I have no idea if that is good, bad, or otherwise. :D

Hi Guys,
I actually went the opposite of what you are asking. I went from ATI Essentials Pro to Triton Core 7.
It's been 7 weeks, and so fare the results are not good. A lot of my soft corals shrunk by ~60%. Some of my stony corals simply died.
I just submitted my 1st IPC test to Triton, and waiting for the results.
So far the Triton rep said I have to give it at least 8-12 weeks for my system to adjust. I am very afraid I will continue to lose stock before my system adjust to Core 7.
