I just noticed this today. I broke off the tube prior to snapping the picture but it looks as though it split the skeleton at the bottom. Do I cut that part of the skeleton off to save the torch? Not sure what to do. I know more white light help for better pics, I just thought if this was common, there’s an easy solution. See photos.

Cheers

Usually these things just run their course. If there's a lot of food in the water column they prosper, if not, they dwindle.

Cheers. The other post has a question mark at the end so I wasn’t sure if they were sure it works. :)
If you can get to it, crushing it with a pair of needle nose pliers also works. If you have bumblebee snails, they will clean up the carnage after you crush it.

Both ways work and have their place in the bag of tricks.

The glowing white stuff is the glue. Took it out, scraped it, dipped it, took pliers to it, then glued the **** out of it. Hopefully the flesh comes back down and it’s happy again.

Thanks for the advice folks.

What’s funny is I have 2 cleaner shrimp that have a ledge on the back wall where they hang out. Yet, no matter where I go to take a picture, the one always photo bombs. Never fails
