Had this guy in a my 2nd year mixed reef tank since early 2024. Since June, I feel like he's slowly shrinking with what looks like flesh recession on the right (flow) side. His flow is not quite direct, strong moderate, via a nero 3 18" away. No flesh tearing or what looks like distressing movement. He's 14" directly under my 360X light set to BRS' recommended daily schedule, peaking @ 100% during the afternoon. All other hammers, goni, duncans, acans, & softies seem happy.

I can move him down in the tank into less flow & light if needed. Thank you for all input! I love this guy and hope to get him a 1st cousin soon!

Water Chem week to week Trends:
Ph 8.0-8.2
1.025 salinity w/Coral Pro Salt
.002- .06 phospate...which I dose & feed reef roids but still struggle to keep up.
15-20 nitrate. Had a spike into the high 20's in July during a prolonged biz trip. Still wrestling it back into the low teens.

Your numbers are good. Glad to see you go for ranges. It looks good to me, but even if you have a PAR meter, the range is going to get in the way. Just play with flow and light (NOT at the same time) if you believe there is an issue. It could be irritated by something you cannot see yet.
