Can’t help but never seen a purple torch before…make sure you pay in such a way a refund is possible if you don’t get what is in the pictures.

The reef club here in the Bay Area did a coral purchase directly from Indonesia a few weeks ago. The torches I got were blue/purple tentacles with teal tips. The hope is they color up over time with more gold over time. They were sold as 24K gold by the seller in Indonesia. Pictures here:

It tells me that I can't view the picture can you screenshot it please

The link is to a publicly available message board similar to Reef2reef. There are a bunch of pictures on page 4 of that thread. If you can't view it I have pictures of the Indo torches on page 2 of My Tank Thread on this board as well.

For the Guacamole torch you show, I got one like that (darker green tentacles with light green tip) for free with a recent order from Black Label Aquatics. The one of have is not particularly colorful but provides variety and movement. I intend to place it one of the lesser visible area of my tank.

Note that names varieties can vary significantly from one vendor to another and depending on how it acclimates to your tank.

Ah okay, I didn't know that.

Below are some torches straight from a coral farm in Indonesia (I cut two colonies into 5 frags---I gave one away). All are supposed to be 24k Indo Gold or Hellfire. The one on the far right looks blue/purple in real life when not fully extended whereas the ones on the left are consistently purple armed. The hope is the frags will develop gold coloring over time which can take 4-6 months or longer.

From what I can tell, most of the torches from Indonesia are purple armed and develop different degrees of gold and yellow and green coloring over time which results in the various Dragon Soul, Hellfire, 24k Gold varieties. Or are green arm variety and if those are super bright and/or color up yellow towards the ends of the arms it becomes a Holy Grail variant rather than the less sought after Cotton Candy or Hulk. Add in green mouth coloring, variation in tip color, and shape of arms (short and thicker vs. long and thin vs. somewhere in between) and this is how you spawn torch Pokémon!

I meant as purple as that picture, why I said if you don’t get what is pictured make sure you can get a refund.
Yeah there is no way that torch looks that purple in real life. That said, this kind of over saturation in pics is quite common so I just readjust expectations mentally.
