Well my goby was very curious on what was on the other side of the glass and the problem fixed itself. He ended up dying but on the bright side I haven’t lost a torch or hammer since.
Awww thats sad! I have a tank full of gobies - citron goby, pinkbar goby, neon goby, 2 mandarins, 2 bluestreak cardinals, 2 barnacle blennies. Needless to say I have feeding requirements.. hence the phosphates haha.

When I got my pinkbar goby it was actually a pair and one ended up jumping out of the slightest gap in my lid. Was a super sad day :(

As much as I adore the corals Im in it first and foremost for the fish. Always been a huge fish guy haha

This says it right here only a few months ago the tank was at zero then it shut up to 1 PM which is insanely high phosphates now he’s got it back down to .3 few weeks later
We have ourselves some ATI results. Based on these I can definitely confirm Phosguard leaches Aluminum and potentially drops carbonate hardness. Probably would’ve been much higher had I not had Polyfilter onboard. Levels don’t seem all that off otherwise - I have put some small live rock underneath all of my coral that were in the sand. We shall see what happens from here.

Tank is crashing as we speak - losing all my LPS to tissue recession after a year and half.

I see your Phosphates are back up to .3
Coming back to report on this for anyone interested. Obviously a traumatic experience but made it through. Ended up losing the 3 headed green torch and 3 headed purple torch, along with 2 hammers and 2 acans.

Frogspawn looked grim but ended up recovering, gorgonians unfazed as usual, birdsnest and duncan also relatively unfazed. Thankfully never lost a fish and they’re all still with us today and doing well.

5 months later I now add rowaphos to my tank every 3 weeks, and I have added a couple hammers, a torch, another birdsnest and some monti’s.

The tank will be 2 years old in May.

Glad to hear you weathered the storm. Nice looking tank. And love where the Citron is hanging out :star-struck:
