Daily Video Bonus: I managed to keep an Idol for over a year in my 180 gallon. He did great, ate, seemed happy and healthy. Then one day I looked in the tang and he had died. No warning signs at all. I'd love to figure out what I did wrong and try again once we know move about these guys. Great video.

Are they selective on the kind of sponge they eat? Definitely a dream fish but I don't know if my 180 g is big enough for one..

Such a cool fish! I think this video also brings up a decent point though. Most sellers don't take the time to educate purchases on the needs of a fish. I understand we as owners need to do research before buying anything - especially living things - but I've seen too many times where Petco or PetSmart will sell a customer an Oscar and a 10 gallon tank without even blinking.

Thanks for taking the time to explain some of the extensive care requirements of these!
