Daily Video Talk Bonus - What makes it an intermediate SPS compared to a beginner? What's harder about it?
I’m just throwing out my opinion, but I’d think price and speed of growth is somewhat of a factor. The beginner stuff is usually hardy and grows so well there is abundance of it and that can make it cheaper and more of an ideal choice to start with. High end for example may not be harder to keep alive but may grow slower and since supply and demand play a factor, it’s best to wait until your confident in your tank and ability.

Video bonus: intermediate sps: just started first sps, a red hulk monti. Work my way up to that beautiful Oregon Tort. Good to know there are some more hardy acros to start with.

Great observation. I think you are spot on. I don't buy high-end because I don't want to kill a $500+ frag.i don't even want to buy a $300 frag right now.

I thought it was interesting how the tank overhangs the stand until you add the doors.

I think this is sorta what we all strive for being a mixed tank. I love the scoly garden and all the rainbow coral. My goal is this but bigger! This started out as my husband's hobby but I love marine life and scuba diving So I'm thinking a tank big enough I can put my ear pods in, scuba gear and have cleaning time! Ha
Man people still do the rock wall ? That one is packed! I underestimated it! Now I give it respect!

Daily bonus: jf Fox flame is a great and hardy coral. I had a colony until I moved 2 years ago. I restarted my tank and replaced about everything beside the fox flame. Going to get another one.

I was interested by how well the macro moved around the fuge. Is there a difference between a semi-stagnant fuge (still 3k+gph just not as much movement) and a moving fuge?
I found my fuge too small to get good macro movement so eventually it just got gross.

Daily Video Talk Bonus - That was a good explanation on refugium. It gave me me a wider idea of how refugium works and its benefits.

I'd love to make a section of my sump a fuge, but I'm afraid of nuisance algae growing there.
