Somebody asked me how it turned out in the tank, so here are some pictures at the restart:

Super... I think this was one of my favorites. Looks very familiar but it's kinda hard to tell. Less blue and more white so we can see your masterpiece better?

Agreed; less is more when it comes to aquascaping. The rock also needs to be balanced from day 1. Meaning not too much rock and have a vision in mind.

One of the best I've seen. Often times I see reefs with healthy fish and coral, but the aquascape makes or breaks the tank, IMO.

Wow. That is a work of art. Mesmerizing.

Veganbrian, I will be starting a new in-wall 125g mixed reef. I have a lot of original reef rock and a lot of the BRS dead white rock. How can I create a pleasing rock work display ? I plan on making it minimal, rather than a reef wall. (The white rock is much easier to mount corals and to lock into each other)

Second. I don't see how with such a low amount of rock, how so many people get away with a large to very large amount of fish ?

Having a aquarium room behind the display, would you suggest having say, 55g or 75g tank filled with rock that is plumed into the sump for more bacteria ?

anyone have any suggestions on a fast setting adhesive for my scape? I want to redo my current aquascape and would like to use my current rock so the adhesive of choice would have to be applied and returned back to the tank as soon as possible to reduce die off from the live rock. My current idea is just take it out hammer and chisel some of the bigger pieces into more usable sizes and shapes and then reassemble using a drill acrylic rods and superglue, while misting the rocks down with tank water to keep them wet.

My main concern is the joints where two rocks will meet, ideally I would like to add additional epoxy or cement but would need something that will cure asap. any suggestions?

current FTS for attention. I already have an idea on how I want to re do it, just need some advice on sticking the already live rock together as quick and sturdy as possible. Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions you may have!

I do all of my scraping underwater. I use plumbers epoxy and super glue...and a lot of both. Just make a nice sized ball of epoxy and cover the future contact points of the epoxy with super glue. Then smash the ball between the rocks you want to join.

I have a Reefer 750.

Here is the first draft of my aquascape. I have a picture of the whole thing then one of the left, right and center. I also have a picture of the side view of each side. The green tape on the wall is the top of my tank. I still have plenty of rock left over so let me know if you see any available upgrades. I plan on cramming this full of corals. Mixed Reef for sure .

I have and update from a post months ago in this thread.
After moving my tank and adding sand, major diatom outbreak, things are finally starting to settle in...

I’m super pleased with how everything is going. Getting ready to start dosing 2 part in the next couple weeks.
Anyone else have some updates, I’d love to see them...

I'm setting up a Waterbox 100.3.... this is what I have been playing around with. Any suggestions would be awesome. I do have some more rock avaliable to use... And I will be adding sand. Thanks for looking!

Wow I really like the shapes of your rocks. Maybe try moving the little front left most one slightly more towards the center or replacing it with a smaller or holier rock. But other than that I think you have a real winner there.

I can’t imagine a way to make this any better than it is, you’ve done a super job. Interesting rock structures placed seamlessly in a way that looks natural isn’t easy to achieve.

Don’t forget to post a photo with the sand bed once it’s in there, it’s gunna look even better! ;-)
