This! Seriously... Also in a lot of unsolicited job offers come to me in my field, (fairly subset part of aviation). I occasionally will bother with a reply to see what the industry is offering, haven't seen anything worth while in 8 years. I deal with my competitors on a daily basis as a chunk of my work is contracted out now, and the contractors are always asking me "are you hiring".The labor shortage is more like a wage shortage issue. Companies complain they can't find people to fill jobs, while at the same time offering pay that doesn't match the drastic price of living increase. I get a dozen unsolicited job offer on LinkedIn every week, 90% of the time I laugh at what they are offering. Skills and experience take time to acquire. And, over that time I went from having to support myself to having a family to support, which is getting more expensive by the day.
