GSP my wife wanted...so much regret4:00 PM CHECK-IN
What is the first coral you ever had?
My GSP is secluded on a rock and stuck to the back glass so it'll cover that eventually.GSP and Zenia are scary
I said gonis. The ones where the skeleton is a rainbow so that they look pretty when closed. But the polyps are solid color so not always insane. For me either a hammer, frogspawn, or some kind of brain coral

What is the first coral you ever had?
Makes me want to do that with my tiny 1 gallon. maybe some cool shrimp and fire snails. That would be they only way I had it if it was a Xenia only tank.
im still on the fence@GetReefy this is why I'm trying to change your mind on getting one.
I've had 2 and both have done great, so much so I sold one as it was 14 inches across and killing corals. As long as your parameters are good, and you have decent lighting and flow I'm not sure if they are that difficult.Anyone here have a bubble tip Nem? LFS said that nems are super finicky and hard to keep. Heard otherwise other places. Also have heard that the both do and don't host clowns. Any real world advice? Kids really want one.
Appreciate the insight! Not particularly difficult to keep. Clowns hosting has more to do with the clowns than the anemones. Most clowns are captive bred these days and will host in weird stuff or not host at all.

Some things are a rite of passage. Are you even a reefer if you haven't made a GSP/Xenia/Kenyan Tree mistake?GSP my wife wanted...so much regret
They generally do better in a mature system but they do best when a clownfish tends to them.Anyone here have a bubble tip Nem? LFS said that nems are super finicky and hard to keep. Another short video of the Fimbriaphyllia Tank.
My Pair was locally bred and are pretty standard, sounds like we will have to experiment and find out. They generally do better in a mature system but they do best when a clownfish tends to them.
My last 3 designer fish did not know what a nem was for.
