Hey reefers,
I am upgrading from a 150 gallon to a 250 gallon tank, the tank is a waterbox 330.7 and the dimensions are (84.1"x 29.5"x 25.6").
This is the stocklist I was thinking of and I would love your feedback. sorry for the mismatched list this is not in order.

The stock list is not completely final and I might not get all the tangs.

Were u able to finalize a fish list? What all tangs did you end up adding to ur system? I'm looking at the same tank! This is my list so far not sure if I should change any or what else to add.
White Tail Bristletooth
Purple Tang
Desjardini Tang
Orange Shoulder Tang
Blue Hippo tang
Yellow tang

Melanurus wrasse
2x Yellow coris wrasse
Open to other wrasse suggestions

pair of clownfish
Longnose hawkfish

School of anthias (probably lyretails)
royal gramma
copperband
magnificent foxface

That is a lot of fish. I'm going to set up a 48x39x25 (203g) and I'm only gonna have 12 fish. And it's going to be pretty heavily stocked IMO anyway. I counted about 40 for you. Just verifying, you're planning on all of these minus a few tangs in a 250g?

Also, what kind of filtration are you gonna be running?

Most likely yeah. I currently have a 90G with 14 fish all doing great heavy feeding and nitrates sit around 15. All are super fat and healthy. Granted all the fish are on the smaller side no large tangs only tang i have is a tomini tang.

My 90G filtration is a reefmat 250, skimmer, and fuge.

Actually I don't have a refugium anymore my nitrates were bottoming out.

I plan on running a reef octopus regal int200, reefmat 1200, refugium (later on), and media reactor. Also going to be adding a UV sterilizer for this system.

Oh whoops lol I thought this was my thread I just posted on fish stock. mb

hey nice list ! I only ended up adding a few tangs on the list on top of the tomini tang I already have. I added a yellow tang, purple tang and a blue hippo. I wanted to keep the tank a little more wrasse focused sense they are my favorite fish. As for wrasse recommendations my favorite is the leapord wrasse definitely suggest one of those or even a pair. I did end up added most of those wrasses on the list but not the leapord yet as they need an established pod population and like tanks over a year old. Any one of those on my list would be a good option. I never ended up adding any of the angelfish. And I didn’t add as many goby’s as were on my list.
