This morning I lost all my fish within 24 hours ..

I actually plan to bring some of my water to my lfs and see if they test anything different from my water all I have are they sailfert test kits and idk how accurate they are..

Also could I use my aqua clear as a hob filter for my qt tank?

Things like this happen out of nowhere in this hobby. It's just part of it unfortunately. About 8 months ago I lost well over 1k in fish due to what I think was velvet in just a couple days. It could have been brook also. They all went fast after showing signs of distress. Swimming into flow etc..The only thing added was some clean up crew from a "reputable" online supplier a few days prior. These were mature tangs,angels, etc.. The only things that survived were my wrasse trio and they were unharmed. Didn't even show any signs of sickness. Give it a couple days and reset your goals. Don't give up.

I know how that is. Its happened to me (several times) your algae blenny is probably gone. But he could be alive you never know worlds a magical place. For now shouldn't they treat the water in case the blenny IS alive?

I will do just this’ I have the qt tank but I haven’t set it up yet I was going too until she died..
so should I do a water change now? And how much should I change ? I have a 40 gallon. And after the three weeks should I add new saltwater or the water from my dt? I have no intention in adding fish for a while as this hurt pretty bad..

You can do 5-10 gals now if you wish.

Nah. Once you get past this and some ugly phases and get your water right you'll be alright!

I subbed to your channel. DO NOT give up. Trust me I've gone through about 4 of these and lost thousands of dollars. I was young at the time. I think this will be the only mishap you will have. If the blenny is still alive my guess is he is resting or he's too sick to move.

Oh nice ! How did you even find my channel lol?! You can see all my freshwater tanks are thriving so it’s pretty hard loosing these guys :/ but thank you I appreciate it! I don’t wanna give up just sucks you kno.. I hope he’s just resting…
