TLDR I'm changing the meaning to Too Long Don't Read
Anyone ever play acrophobia? I loved playing. It was my intro to conversing on the net.
Life stuff going on so I'm spending a bit of time watching the tanks today as therapy. Pics to follow along with old guy ramblings.
Nothing to do with the tank in this thread but this is one of my biggest successes (I only have a few) Got this peice in a $20 bargain bin.

This pavona has been in every tank I've had. It was a frag when I got it.

This is from a chip that broke off. This coral breaks easier than a digi. I'm an accidental fragger aka clumsy.

This blasto is coming back from the dead. It got lost in the move.

I think I'm gonna be a. daddy. This is the first time I've had a toadstool reproduce. Assuming that's what it's doing.

My pectinia is still digging life in the sps tank

Signing off with a pic of the CBB couple. Man I love it when a plan comes together

EDIT : to add pics of the kids holding hands

And focused on my conversation

I'm not senile but I have no idea what happened to the coral pics above. They were there yesterday. Hey #moderator @revhtree any idea why half of my images disappeared?

If I go into edit mode attachments are shown

But in view mode they are not visible

Yeah I remember seeing the coral pics too. The baby toad stool the pectina.

Years ago on my local forum someone posted shots of his tank in his thread they were of corals and fish and a fts. The problem was in a couple of the pics like fts and fish pics there was reflection in the glass, apparently he had been naked while taking pics. I never noticed. Those pics were removed by mods. You didnt do that did you? lol

No chance of that lol.
It's funny because if you look at the screen shots it shows the attachments but the pics don't show. If no one from staff responds I'll just redo the post I guess

Do you use a host site for your pics? This was something that had to be done in the past and how I lost most of my pics because I refuse to negotiate with terrorists (looking at you photobucket). At times the pic links would load because of the hosting site having some issue or another but that would still have a "blank" space where the pic was. I know that isnt needed here as they can be direct downloaded, but maybe something with "the cloud" whichever you may use?

No I do it strait from my phone just like at @tbrown. It's has to be a software issue I would think. I'm just gonna go back and add them again. If the entire post disappears it means it didn't go well lol

As long as YOU don't disappear!
No plans of that. I have no personal friends and no social media outside of R2R so with the exception of my pups and Gal you folks are it. The dogs love to listen to me talk reef stuff but they like me talking about grass growing or the color of the sky too :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: My Gal likes the tanks but I get the feeling she doesn't really listen when I'm talking about them :thinking-face:

Pics are fixed so let's see how it goes.

Disclaimer : Old guy ramblings below

Die Hards corals.
A few that have been with me from close to the beginning.

Paly grandis and some type of recordia I think. These have survived months in a dark brute. I just brought these up from the stock tank.
PXL_20241016_011250151.jpg

These guys are still in the dark but hanging in there. Flashlight used ;)
PXL_20241016_005645621.jpg

The you can't kill me if you try blue ridge. There was a small patch of this on a piece of rock I bought from a guy tearing down a tank years ago. It will grow anywhere and survive in the dark. I've had rocks the size of a softball covered in it. Deep in the center of this one is a frag plug. I placed it on a rock I cut flat so I could keep it but not have it take over. I moved it today. The back not shown is all white from being in the dark. It should start showing some polyps now that it's out in the light.
PXL_20241016_010501063.jpg

And now the killer paly. This stuff just shuts down and goes dormant when removed from light and heat. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if it could live out of water. Do not try this at home. I've plucked so many of these things with my thumb and index finger I should be dead 10 times over. What happened to common sense? Don't boil it, snort it, eat it, rub it in your eyes, and maybe think about washing your hands. I just don't get it :zany-face:
PXL_20241016_010359816.jpg

This is some in the dormant stage in the stock tank.

PXL_20241016_005754831.jpg

This is the stock tank I keep mentioning. Most of the rock is left over from the 180g. I'm keeping water flowing and heat but no light. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it but I'm not going to let it turn into dry rock.

Well if you've made it this far and actually read my ramblings thank you and good night.
