I gave been thinking of adding a fish or 2 to my tank as the final occupants.....So I have been looking at Fairy Wrasses of some sort. Well to to cash and a few I would like are a bit more then I can afford I am looking at a Mccosker's(although females seem hard to find) or Pink margin wrasse w/ female or 2 over time.

Anybody have experience with either of these 2 fish.....Looking for some hands on stuff so I can finish making my decision...

Thanks

I have 2 pink margins and they are great fish, get along fine with others.
The mckoskers is a flasher wrasse, much smaller, but very nice also.

Yes I do. You have to have one if you want to keep wrasses.

That's pretty sweet Brad.....Might have to go find some material like that before hand and make me a top like that...I have firefish who are jumpers as well and they have been model citizens....I had them before and they would get startled every time the PH would turn on with the wave maker. I have a vortech now and they haven't been startled once even with my hand in the tank....But better to be safe then sorry as much as some of these fairies cost...

That looks like my top... I bought from JimsFlies here on R2R.

It is the same design and same material. Garden netting and window screen framing. Very simple to build and cheap.
I had to double up the netting because I could'nt find 1/4 inch netting.
It works great and keeps the fish wet.
