I've got a mixed relationship but I voted I love my Anemone because overall I do love Anemones and the symbiotic relationship with Clowns.

I used to have two monster Chicago Sunbursts that were the centerpiece of my Peninsula. Eventually they started causing some problems as they continued to grow and the tentacles were so long, even corals I had far away were in the danger zone.

I've since removed those two and left in a baby they popped out. Of course, that baby is growing exponentially now that I've moved it into the display tank from the sump so I'm sure he'll be problematic soon enough.

I view anemones as an interesting challenge, and I'm not sure I could do without one in my tank.

Wow! That is a lot of eye candy!! For the not so tool handy - me - would you mind showing what the PVC end cap is and how tall it is? I would love to try this.

The day I got him:

Tonight:

I love watching him eat, curling up his little fingers, like a kid and stuffing them in his mouth.

Downstairs in the 220, I have 6 rose tipped BTA and a Hawaiian Sunset BTA... Who spends more time.talking around than bubble tipping. (He has never looked like this... Just all long and waving to the other corals as he walks all over and around them.

But I REALLY love my new rock flower garden!

Ok Sue, you just caused me to buy TWO from Queen City Corals. I've been wanting one and your pictures tipped me over the edge. :D

Zoas and anemones are the reason for my reef madness.

First one - don’t know what it was:

Then I got this one and was told it was “a bubble tip”

But now after it split and the baby found a spot but the parent died it turned into this:

I’m so fascinated by the color change! Then I got a good deal on a black widow and they hung out for a while but the black widow started declining.

Poor dude is coming back slowly after feeling puny for at least 2 months. It’s been a sad, worrying process but I think in a month he’ll be back to his full color glory. Below is him trying to rally in my bigger tank but he wasn’t happy there and only improved when I moved him in the cup back to the original tank. He left the cup in about a week and has been making his comeback ever since. Plus, I just left it alone.

I learned my lesson about leaving them alone when I kept trying to “help” that first white and pink one. I regret it so bad that one died. I’m still a newby but I was a super newb then.

By definition I keep a few clones, they wander around and get into the moving parts or get traded to the LFS to enrich the hobby. They own the tank and I just try to keep them out of trouble.

Not sure what he eats on a normal day, but on feeding days, he gluts himself on frozen shrimp and off days he shows on pellets the fish don't get. Easiest thing I've ever owned. I gave him a trumpet shell to curl into and now he shared it with my neon doty

I tried to "help" my first one, too... Also white. Also lost. Now just leave em alone and toss shrimp their way, every few days.
