After about an hour trying to rip out turf algae I decided to buy a reef cleaners package and move over a couple tuxedo urchins.

Fish! And the blue flasher is not blue @i cant think
I’ll be intrigued if mine goes redder long term.
I know he’s not the happiest fish so he’s got stress colours (although I never would’ve thought it would be blue for stress colours).

Can’t wait to see him awake in the morning!

So I just fed the last of my eel food and despite this monsters best attempts to eat everything some was left over. Here it is in a post over eating hangover

Anyways if you haven’t you should try throwing in chunks of seafood into you tanks. This time the tilefish after eating one chunk decided to grab the second chunk of shrimp and just chill with it until the Timor wrestled it out of its mouth.
Also are Nassarius the fastest snail because they come zooming out if you put a chunk of shrimp in the sand.

Yes, Nassarius should be the ones named Turbo snails. They can book it when you drop some shrimp in!

Depends on which species of nassaurius it is but yes several of the species will eat snails. The ones with a pure white foot seem to do it less frequently than the ones with the tattoo like markings on the foot

@Fishfreak2009 what depth sand do I need for a pair of jawfish? Or could I use PVC pipe?
Mine have 4-6" of sand. I'd say bare minimum 3". I hate using PVC, they do better digging their own out imo, like Sleeper gobies.

Snail killer you say? How about this guy? 10 minutes into the tank and he enjoyed a Turbo snail... pulled the operculum open and devoured it...
