My whole tank in a way you’ve never seen it before. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Did somehow miss a couple corals but oh well.

Acros looking awesome. You're going to need more space for that Acan island. Once those three acans start growing and doming, they'll be on top of each other.

The rock is actually pretty sizeable. Weirdly the red one looks like it’s doing really well but the two greens are meh.

That video convinced me my older birdsnest needed surgery.

If you can’t tell the base was overrun with turf algae so I chopped off the two healthy branches. Tossed out the base and glued the bits back in.

I know that :face-with-tears-of-joy: Thought they will help reduce sand algae by just disturbing the sand (and do conches eat sand algae’s like diatoms?). I was really talking about the crabs as my real battle is with that turf algae. May try chitons but I’d have to order it which jacks up the price so I’ll see if the crabs can get ahead of it.
I have chitons
Don’t know what frag they came in on
But they seem to like to reproduce
Wish they’d make like bunnies and really tackle my turf algae
Random clean patches of rocks are cool but they need to work harder for that pay!!

My latest and craziest attempt at killing algae with peroxide!
IMG_1723.jpeg

I soaked the paper towel in about 25% 5% hydrogen peroxide and left it for 10 minutes.
muriatic acid would take care of that issue

I think that people with the excellence award should get extra entries in contests. Don’t you all agree my faithful mediocre followers?
Or people without it should

This worked fairly well. Issue is many of my corals are so close to the top that it can’t focus. Photos to xome

Also the new power head is in. Also in the photo look at how the montipora is already showing a bunch of new growth spikes. Remember how it was getting really bad RTN not long ago?
