Bee Farm pronounced Ape E air E.Today was the last snorkeling. Tomorrow is a Bee Farm tour and Coffee Plantation. Friday is a Cacao farm tour and hang out in Kona until the plane leaves.
We stayed pretty shallow - maybe 5' at the deepest. The octopus was cool to watch though!
Fall tonWinter 1 gallon. Spring to summer almost 2 gallons.So. Serious questions. For those with non glass lidded tanks is what are your daily top off amounts. Also I noticed some droplets appear on the pipe and drip into my sump. Not sure if it’s a minor leak or condensation? No salt creep so it must be condensation right?
Where is a good place to get one?Good reason to consider a polycarbonate lid!
@VintageReefer has a good contact on Etsy. I'm probably going that route. Just need to get the designs right for mountings.Where is a good place to get one?

Anyone know what’s wrong with my SPS? I thought it was a bacterial infection? It’s now hit my forestfire Monti and took out a whole arm today. It’s like a pinkish brown slime that spreads really fast?
For the slime, if you see it eating on more coral. Stop all wayer flow and syphon off everything into a bucket or something. I never recommend peroxide for sps. Iodine might help. Fragging a quarter inch below necrosis might save the colony. You might need to ask about meds with other sps growers. My parameters have been pretty good except magnesium which I’m slowly raising. This is the third colony it’s hit. All have been in my tank for a couple years and previously fine. Go from full and healthy to completely dead in days.
I blasted off the slime a couple hours ago.
Also I fragged the last two corals and only one small piece of my playing monti survived.
