Anyone want to cry? Picked this up today. Can't be a fish tank but it's going to be the best hamster habitat my daughter could wish for. Brand new but they cracked the corners unloading it at the store so they were giving it away.

I was very sad to have lost my juvenile (it got scared during tank maintenance and just never came out again) as this is maybe my favorite fish. Very very happy to be able to try again. No aggression so far which is great considering they are some of the smaller wrasse in the tank (I was hoping to get bigger ones) and considering this tank is full of meaner wrasse.

Mine looks like a baby now, in comparison, but Red is pushing 5" and is amazing to watch. Live middle neck clams are fun challenges that keep him and Lemmy entertained

Not my tank. Picked it up for free. I feel bad for the store. Can you imagine having to write off a $4500 accident? My daughter is over the moon and once my shoulders recover from moving the 600lb monster I'll enjoy how happy she is

Got to drill the overflow and replace the normal tubes with those hamster ones

And yeah they are so incredibly heavy. I was lucky I have a coworker who is just 250+ of pure muscle and could take half the tank while 3 of us did the other half
Still chipped it but at least I chipped a top corner

I'm not solid muscle but that describes how it went here. My wife and two teenagers sort of holding an end while I shifted the other side. At least we weren't worried about chipping it

Speaking of wrasse and rocks my dragon aka rockmover wrasse has stolen the 2” frag of GSP I made for @Gumbies R Us and @AlyciaMarie and I can’t find it

If you still want it though I’d still happily make you a new one I’ll just make it in the moment so it’s not stolen lol

@Slocke @felda001 Yall are both working too hard. I have a 72x30x22 with 3/4" glass. I made a custom 2x4 dolly with huge casters to roll right up to the bed of my truck to get the tank out and slide it right on to my stand. Made it easy work with only 2 people.

I normally have reds, my mother keeps tris and reds. But my red tri made me a little blue girl 3 months ago that broke the trend.

Nah. I made it easier. I went acrylic. I can lift that one myself
