Does your wife not like pretty sparkly things??
She does, just not saltwater pretty sparkly things. For some reason she prefers freshwater.

Don’t get me wrong, I am debating on having a fresh water paludarium for a couple of danios but I could never prefer fresh over salt… unless there were freshwater wrasses then maybe it would have me.

Always loved the Efatensis, if I didn’t have so much red I would’ve had a pair but I’m holding out for a laboute’s (maybe even a pair).

I want another Laboutei, I haven't found a good specimen though. This was sold to me as a C. Bathyphilus, they are so close though it could be either.

It’s still a young specimen so ID between the two is going to be somewhat difficult still.

Here are some pics I snapped yesterday. Might as well post them here while waiting in the hospital. Already miss my tanks and only been here about 12 hrs.

1. Katherine
2. Joanallen
3. Marjorie
4. Claire
5. Jordan
6. Laboute
7. Wakanda

The time has come… the ticking timebomb is being removed.
I have heard from my LFS about these guys destroying clams and if you know my other addiction, it’s the fact I want to add clams to this 5’ reef.
So, I’m hoping tonight I can trap him however I have until Wednesday at the latest.
Let’s say our last few goodbyes to this gorgeous fish.

We're naming her Brooke. So far so good! She's pretty painful, but according to the doctor that is good as it means the contractions are ramping up and things are moving along.

Your fish is the exact reason I haven't gotten a green coris even though I've been tempted by little juveniles a few times now. Why chance it? Had one years ago and it was always mellow, but it was with bigger fish like triggers and angels, not fairies, tiles, etc.

He was alright other than the odd occasion of aggressive bursts but I don’t think I’ll be chancing it any more, especially with clams and how pricey they can be - I can get them to recover easily but I don’t think I’d be able to recover one after he’s got hold of it.

Well, the Laboute’s is a very nice wrasse and one I’m hoping to own soon. My LFS has a gorgeous male and I am hoping he remains there until Monday, then I’ll be hunting for a female as they’re gorgeous when paired with a true blue appearance.
