I think I finally figured it out but this was really really difficult for me so I won’t spoil it yet.
It’s got the body of a Cheilinus species and it’s between Unifasciatus and Diagramma. Diagramma doesn’t have the lined eye so it is a Unifasciatus.
You love those big torpedoes
Well I guess you are right? It’s got the body of a Cheilinus species and it’s between Unifasciatus and Diagramma. Diagramma doesn’t have the lined eye so it is a Unifasciatus.
It was posted by a guide I follow. I would say I love the face and hate the tail. Put that face on the body of a normal shaped wrasse and it would be perfect. You love those big torpedoes
Is that a cube?Hey, wondering what everyone's suggestions would be for wrasse in an IM 60?
I have a couple ideas, but I'd like some outside thoughts to expand my plan.

Yellow Not-A-Coris Pig Wrasse???The two clowns are probably leaving my main tank and headed to the nano, unfortunately. Let the female loose from her acclimation box jail cell and all the wrasses immediately went to the back (yellow and blue star were already in the sand when I started pulling out the acclimation box, so maybe they'll come out eventually). Brunneus is hanging in the back and peering around corners nervously. Female clown chased him a few times.
So... what goes in next? I have the rubeus on the way, which was meant to be my last fish. Now with the clowns leaving, I'm thinking of one more wrasse.
Currently will be:
P. ataenia x 2
C. brunneus
C. rubeus
H. chrysus
M. bipartitis
Ideas: C. exquisitus, C. lubbocki... C. isosceles would be interesting, but that is also a Lunatus Complex, along with the brunneus, so conflict? A Pseudojuloides would be very interesting, but I don't know where I'd find one, or if it'd be affordable, or if it would make it through QT...

My votes would be C lubbocki, M meleagris, or M negroensis. The two clowns are probably leaving my main tank and headed to the nano, unfortunately. 35.43" L x 23.62" W x 16.14" HIs that a cube?
negroensis was high on my list previously... might aim for a 3rd fairy though to keep the others stimulated. So much to consider! My votes would be C lubbocki, M meleagris, or M negroensis.
Then I agree a leopard would be a great fit35.43" L x 23.62" W x 16.14" H
More of a standard rectangle tank.
IM60 is a great size for a leopard or two, a Halichoeres and a few easier-going fairies. I have in my IM40L, which has similar dimensions (but 13"H):35.43" L x 23.62" W x 16.14" H
More of a standard rectangle tank.
Vivien, negrosensis. I would personally avoid the pintail. Beautiful yes but too timid. This is my second one. It was great in QT with the naoke and leopard but now in the DT it is skittish like the last one and losing weight. It’s in with a babi, chrysus, vivien, naoke, watanabe, bellus and clowns . It’s mot an issue with inter fish aggression but that of fast aggressive eaters that it can’t compete with. IMO this should be the single wrasse in a peaceful tank. The two clowns are probably leaving my main tank and headed to the nano, unfortunately. I've got a decent feeding system that gets well-distributed in the tank so even the shy fish are able to grab food easily:Vivien, negrosensis. I would personally avoid the pintail.
