I am still struggling in narrowing down which 2 wrasse's I want to get for my 90 g peaceful community/ reef tank. I know I want to get a solon wrasse, but I want a second peaceful one, and am having difficulty narrowing that down. Any thoughts? I like the exquisite fairy wrasse, can they go together?
Yes, though you may have more luck with a different type of wrasse. Halichoeres wrasse are popular and fairly easy. Search “Halichoeres” in liveaquaria to get a good list of those wrasse.

My LFS has a couple Anampses lennardi in at the moment, and they're so cool. Always been one of my dream fish.
I didn't realise they were still available here. They're even relatively affordable for the fish they are, at $350 AUD.

Has anyone here kept them before? I'd just like to have some knowledge about them, given how tempting they are. I don't want to not know the proper care, even if I never own one.

Also, as a side note, my LFS is way too nice. They keep trying to send me home with the fish that don't do well in prolonged time in medication once through QT, doing well, but not selling. They don't want the fish to be unwell due to the copper, which happens a lot with special orders that are never picked up.
That's how I got my Meleagris Leopard, who's doing fantastic after a week in my tank. Fingers crossed it all goes well for her.

Any reason as to why you’ll only have 2?

If it was me and I was only going for 2 I’d personally go for an Attenuatus Flasher as one of them. But this may be biased as I have one and he is truly displaying now. I just watched him, my carpenters and finifenmaa displaying after feeding. And he’s still in the colours - just I can’t get a photo as he’s stupidly fast now the Hawk is gone.

From what I’ve read, these guys are a cooler water species and may not cope well in a warm reef environment.

But that’s what little knowledge I have of this fish as they’re rarely imported into the UK IME.

Viviens and hemi on TSM

That’s a nice hemi, but I definitely prefer the Piscilineatus and Attenuatus over them.

Picked up a Vrolik's wrasse today - already with adult male colors but still relatively small, so hoping he's not too old. That makes three halichoeres (if the christmas wrasse ever comes out of the sand again) so I'm thinking I might need something else next...
