I have a couple things I plan on doing with the 110 this weekend. Afrer that, I want to see if I can get a good shot of each to show their sizes.

Red & Jaws are basically the same length now, probably about 4-4.5"
Blofeld (Timor) is still topping them both out closer to 5". Very similar in size to my dusky, in fact.
Red has lots of new blue stars coming in, it seems like every day. He's really becoming quite stunning. He's also getting strong. Moving rubble around.
They're so neat to just sit and watch them hunt.

Hm… what’s everyone’s favourite;
Mccoskeri
Amanda
Carpenteri

Mines Carpenteri for sure, I liked mccoskeri but this guy finally displayed properly for the first time in a while with my Aquamarinus and the blues in his dorsal were gorgeous.

Rubricaudalis and Flavianalis weren’t included as I’m sure we can all guess who would win in that case - Rubricaudalis most likely.

Rhomboid has never flashed like this before. (S)he got all wound up after dinner and was roid raging for about 30 minutes.

I normally never use the orange lens, but I put an old pair of the orange glasses in front of the camera so it could pick up the color.

Why is your tomini cowering in the cave below?

Does any only have any insight on this wrasse Halichoeres richmondi), it says peaceful. gets about 7.5 inches.
They don’t look as vibrant as that from the specimens I’ve seen - they’re usually a darker fish but still beautiful. They’re often confused with melanurus and honestly I would personally say they’re identical in care and almost identical in looks.

Mb looking at me sweetly ("Why thank you for the BBS! You're my favorite biped!") while the firefish gives me the stink eye.

The voices......
(context: my lfs just got in some parachelinus cyaneus)
I want them so bad but I fear I'm going overstocked soon...
Those are my favourite flasher wrasse ever, the shimmery blue on their sides is just so beautiful.
They're (almost) the sole reason I'm upgrading my tank soon.

After target feeding some reef frenzy, I came back to check that all the corals finished eating. I found my pintail laying down perfectly still in front of a blood shrimp letting it clean him.

In all my years reefing I’ve never seen a wrasse of mine let themselves be touched by a cleaner shrimp. I don’t know if it’s just cute or if I should feel concerned

My wrasses love my cleaner wrasse as he lets them swim as he cleans them. They do see my cleaner shrimp too but it’s not as common.

And just a warning for all wrasse lovers;
Do not get this fish. They’re a pain to get out of the tank if you get a nasty one. Don’t fall into the trap I did of how it was the first hawk I fell in love with so I bought it, it’s a fish that is to be admired from another person’s tank.
