That store is selling fish I seen on social media. Guess they cleaned up there disease infested tanksIdk it kinda looks like the type of fish you’d spend thousands for at a certain reefing professional store Right @Crabby48?

Yeah, not sure. I did a little tweaking to this photo (straightening him out), this was when it was just chilling right off the bottom not swimming. When he swam it evened out and looked normal. Doesn't seem to affect him at all, still going crazy for frozen foods.I don't know, the hump in the back makes it look very odd. Almost like it has a disease of some sort.
Earlei males are gorgeous in person. I would not hesitate to buy one again if money permitted, they're my favorite fairy wrasse because they look and act different than most fairy wrasses. But being a deep water wrasse they are very jumpy, sadly I've lost two of them to hitting the edge of my lid during tank maintenance.Probably time this thread becomes it’s own topic under “fish discussion”
Question about an Earle’s fairy wrasse and Laboute’s fairy wrasse
Big price difference so I’d like to know in real life is there much if a visual difference? They both look beautiful but I’m not sure an Earle’s fairy is worth the premium price.
*i realize why the Earle’s fairy is more expensive, due to the depths at which they are retrieved. My question pertains only to comparing the visual aspects of each with regard to price. I’m not questioning why one is more expensive than the other
Huge difference in appearance in person. Here are a few pictures of my Earl. I love the earls but not the Laboute’s. Everyone likes what they like. For me if you got the cash get the earls lol! Earls is a smaller fairy wrasse alsoProbably time this thread becomes it’s own topic under “fish discussion”

It very much looks like the candy basslet. I wanted a pair but held off hoping for an earl. That is a remarkable fish for sure.
Kinda reminds me of the candy basslet, which is on my holy grail list, and not too much more expensive than an Earle’s fairy wrasse
Candy basslets are eye candy lol I'd love to have one in my 20 long so I could actually see it!That is a remarkable fish for sure.

Honestly, they’re nice but not my cup of tea personally… I’d have a roseafascia over a lanceolatus. Theyre just not all that fascinating to me.Crazy holy grail! - True Japanese Cirrhilabrus lanceolatus (sub male)
Collected from deepwater Japan, about 3"
Another nice wrasse coming this week, first in the trade

Pretty sure this is the "Wrasse lovers" thread? If it’s a Labrid show it off!
If they were affordable you wouldn't want one of these brutes swimming around in your tank? I would just love to see one in person some day they look huge in pictures.Honestly, they’re nice but not my cup of tea personally… I’d have a roseafascia over a lanceolatus. Honestly, I like the relatives but don’t like the lanceolatus as much. If it was affordable I might just to be able to say ‘I’ve owned one’ but other than that probably not.If they were affordable you wouldn't want one of these brutes swimming around in your tank?
