I have been looking for this wrasse for a long time. Finally got one at Petco today. I really like the terminal male coloration of this wrasse

Fin is in the tank!
The naoko has began to display (Not anything aggressive or constant just small spurts of displaying). And he’s been out and feeding already so clearly nobody is hating him enough to stress him out.

That is not a Naoko :)
From personal experiences, it is difficult to photograph Naoko

Someone came out to say hi this morning

Still not sure she's 100% OK. Swimming a bit strange maybe.

I've been trying to get a look at her mouth for injuries, and I can't tell if her lower jaw is offset or not. But, she definitely opens and closes it. Opened it wide like a yawn a few times. Didn't directly see her feeding, but I dumped some hatched brine shrimp and Reef Nutrition in there and she looked interested. I also smashed a Nutrimar press-on shot in a corner hoping it lets loose more gradually during the day.

#3 decided to wake up right before I left the office

PetCo surprisingly, at least where I go has solid stock. It helps that the section manager actually knows and cares as well.

Yellow fin fairy. C. flavidorsalis. They are fairly aggressive
Yeah, he’s in with some other Fairy aggressive wrasses now;
C. finifenmaa
C. naokoae
H. chloropterus
H. iridis
X. margaritaceus
(notoriously the most peaceful of the bunch)

Plus my two Lubbockis were somewhat aggressive (not so much nasty aggression but they definitely didn’t stay 100% peaceful to the others - they kind of balanced eachother out with aggression).

Because they’re even more difficult than tamarin wrasse. I know @i cant think has been looking for one though.
Yup. Hit/Miss for me. I'm at 1 for 2. I'm a glutton, I still want to try again with a pencil, just waiting on my importer to get the right one.

Had this guy last a bit about 7 months and lost it when I had to reseal the 120, it didn't take 20L tank life well, before that it ate like a pig and handled its self well.

Had this guy, it just never ate, sucks.
