Ha. Exactly. The algae scraper set the boundary for lateral growth.I love the side shot of that tank. You can tell how thick of a magnetic scraper you have. LOL

Important lesson there. I chose the 6' wide 125 g tank because that shape fits best in the living room. But now I know the narrow front to back dimension really limits what you can do with the aquascape. There's just not enough depth to still have large colonies AND significant negative space. Unfortunately, I couldn't justify the expense of replacing a functional system at this time--using the same tank for SPS Tank 2.0 means I'm fated to still fall short of my ultimate goal, but I think I'll get closer. And I'm sure I'll discover new tidbits that I'll be able to implement when I can swing my next dream tank purchase....
